Driving home from the park-and-ride this evening, I was
unfortunately stuck behind a minivan that was going well under the
speed limit. I could not overtake it as we were on a rather windy
stretch of single-lane road. The minivan was weaving from side to
side and came pretty close to mounting the kerb on a few occasions.
My first thought was there was an intoxicated driver behind the
wheel, but it was too early in the day for that. The road
eventually widened into two lanes at the stop junction and I was
able to pull up alongside the minivan to take a look at the
driver.
The driver was a woman who was talking on her cellphone while
applying lipgloss/lipstick with the aid of the mirror on the
lowered sunvisor. I took a quick glance in the cabin behind her
and saw two kids sitting in the back.
Where's a freaking' traffic cop when you need one????

a couple of days ago, a car was taking up 2 lanes, driving at about
50km/h on a 70km/h zone while the lane on the left was packed up
with heavy vehicles...
somehow passed it and saw this lady leaning so far forward her
chin was ahead of the steering wheel...
